About Wexford Records

Wexford County Busted Mugshots is a private records-reference resource. It identifies the official places to ask about a booking record, custody change, court case, or agency-held photograph in Wexford County, Michigan. It does not collect or display booking-photo galleries.

The Resource’s Purpose

Public records are spread among different custodians. The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office handles county jail services and records routes, Cadillac Police may hold a city arrest report, Michigan Department of Corrections records serve a different population, and the courts record what happened after an arrest. This resource organizes those official paths so that a person can start with the right office instead of relying on an old commercial listing.

Wexford’s official sites did not show a public current-inmate roster, a county booking feed, or a public photo stream in the August 25, 2026 review. A targeted request, a custody notification service, or a court inquiry is often more useful than a broad search.

Information Available Here

The records path differs by agency and custody status. The main pages explain the distinctions and point to the appropriate official contact.

  • The county booking-record and custody lookup path, including FOIA, MI-VINE, court, and state-corrections options.
  • City-specific agency and records routes for Cadillac, Manton, and Buckley.
  • The dated regional wanted-list lead and safe warrant-verification contacts on Wanted Fugitives.
  • How local reporting, state supervision records, and court files differ from a county-jail booking record.

Limits of This Resource

This is independently operated and is not part of the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, Wexford County Jail, Michigan Department of Corrections, or any government agency. It cannot release a person, confirm a booking, post bond, schedule a visit, retrieve an agency record, or provide legal advice.

  • Only the responsible agency can address a live custody question.
  • Only a court can determine the final outcome of a criminal case.
  • Agency contact details, fees, and operating hours can change.
  • Records may be restricted, redacted, corrected, sealed, or unavailable.

Use the originating office to confirm a current status. A booking or wanted entry reports an allegation, not proof that a person committed an offense.

Search-Partner Disclosure

Some pages include a search box delivered by an outside provider. That provider controls its own results, terms, and pricing. If a visitor elects to sign up for a paid partner service, this resource may receive a referral fee. That relationship helps support the reference material but does not change which government agency holds an official record.
